2020 New Enlightenment Webinar
In July 2019, a meeting of invited academics and businesspeople was held in Edinburgh, centered at Panmure House, Adam Smith’s last residence. The event concluded with the signing of the Panmure House Declaration, which stated a collective commitment to shoring up the institutions of an ethically based liberal market economy.
To mark the first anniversary of the conference, on July 31, 2020, a webinar was organized featuring six of the speakers from the original event.
